There comes a point where we can’t keep pushing through. Something aches beneath the surface: a restlessness, a loss of meaning, or a quiet inner whisper that says, "I don’t know who I am anymore."
If that’s where you find yourself, you’re not broken. You might just be at a turning point, one of those deep, in-between places where change begins.
I’m Paulina, a BACP registered counsellor working online across England and in person in Launceston, Cornwall. My approach is warm, intuitive and grounded in connection. It’s not about labelling or fixing. It’s about making space for your story to unfold, at your pace.

How I work: Human first, always
I take an integrative approach, drawing from person-centred values, Gestalt awareness, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and transpersonal depth. I also weave in threads of Carl Jung’s teachings on the shadow, the Self, and the inner journey towards wholeness. This means we’ll explore your thoughts and feelings, but also your embodied experience, your dreams, your relationships, and the parts of you that maybe haven’t had space to speak before.
We’ll listen together: to your body, to your needs, to the patterns that keep repeating. This kind of therapy it’s about reconnecting with your sense of aliveness.
Common themes people bring:
Anxiety, stress and inner criticism that won’t switch off
Burnout and exhaustion, especially for those caring for others
Trauma, including emotional neglect or childhood wounding
Feeling "too much" or "not enough"
Grief, loss, and life transitions
A longing to feel more connected — to yourself, to others, to something bigger
If any of this resonates, please know you're not alone.
