About me

If you found your way here, something has brought you to this moment.  Maybe you can't quite name it yet.

Maybe you've been carrying something for a long time and you're finally ready to set it down.

Whatever it is, I'm glad you're here.

I'm Paulina, an integrative counsellor and therapist offering online sessions across the UK. I work with people navigating anxiety, stress, eating difficulties, relationship struggles, and the unique challenges of being neurodivergent.

I also work with people who simply feel that somewhere along the way, they lost touch with who they really are.

I believe the answers you're looking for are already within you.

My job is simply to help you find them.

How I work

I work integratively, drawing on person-centred principles, Gestalt, CBT and transpersonal approaches. In practice, that means I see you as a whole person. Not just your thoughts, not just your feelings or your history. All off it together. Because healing rarely happens in just one place.

Some sessions we might explore what's happening in your body as you speak. Others we might gently examine the stories you've been telling yourself for years.

Sometimes the most important thing is simply feeling truly heard by another person, perhaps for the first time.

This kind of unravelling is often the beginning of something important. I follow your lead. Always.

Additionally, I offer a free 15-20 minute introductory call to help you decide. Simply send me a message below to schedule.

Counselling can be provided in English or Polish.

My Background

Alongside my private practice, I work as an Engagement Worker for a local mental health charity, embedded within a specialist NHS Easting Disorder Service, helping people find their life outside of an eating disorder.

Before this, I worked as a Binge Eating caseworker within the same charity, which gave me a deep understanding of the relationship between food, emotions and identity, and the importance of self worth and learning to meet your own needs.

I hold a CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, alongside training in trauma-informed practice and suicide intervention.

I am registered member of the BACP and work in full accordance with their Ethical Framework.

I also volunteered with Pegasus Men's Wellbeing Centre where I completed my 100 clinical placement hours.

Your safety and wellbeing are at the centre of everything I do.

Sessions are usually weekly but we can adapt the frequency of your sessions to your needs.

Working Online

All of my sessions take place online, which means wherever you are in the UK, you can access support from a space that already feels comfortable and familiar to you.

Many clients find that the comfort of their own space allows them to show up more fully.

During our first session, we'll discuss your needs and focus, confidentiality, and schedule. This is also a great opportunity for you to see if I'm the right counsellor for you.

Fees

Individual sessions are £50 for 60 minutes. I offer a limited number of reduced fee places for those who are unable to meet the full fee. Please don't let cost be the thing that stops you from reaching out.

Taking That First Step

Therapy isn't just for the darkest moments. Sometimes a quiet sense that something needs to change, or that you've lost touch with yourself,  is worth listening to.

Taking that first step is often the hardest part. Everything after that, we figure out together.

If something here resonates, I'd love to hear from you. A free 15 minute call is a good place to start.
